WEATHER UPDATE FROM BAM
Solid rain chances next week across the Midwest and Ohio Valley. For those spots that have missed out the past week or two, there should be good opportunities ahead - though they may also come with severe weather chances.
The Western Plains (TX/KS/NE/W. Dakotas) will be hotter than normal and drier than normal over the next 2 weeks. Some expansion of drought or abnormally dry conditions ahead but conditions remain mostly favorable elsewhere.
Big key to watch into August will be tropical activity. There may be something to watch late the first week of August in the southeast (would be a hotter/drier Ag Belt risk if it verifies) but confidence is increasing for a very active period mid-late August for the tropics (see image).
