WHEN WILL THE BLEEDING STOP?

AUDIO COMMENTARY

  • Bearish weather forecasts still pressuring markets. Forecasts are now priced in

  • Crop index scores indicate sub 50 beans and 170 corn

  • A lot of areas look good, a lot are spotty

  • It is going to take some time to evaluate the recent heat

  • Taking profits on puts. Time for courage calls?

  • Crop conditions that were down this week, will probably be up next week

  • Still don’t think we will hit USDA yields

  • It is hard to argue we are better than a year ago

  • Funds are short. Lot of upside if we see war escalation

  • Options are still expensive. This means the market sees possible risk
